Swiss
18 carat gold ultra-thin repeating pocket watch by
Audemars Piguet - Details:
The
Audemars Piguet Co. made this high quality ultra-thin
Swiss 18kt. gold minute repeating pocket watch in
the late 1800s. The
silvered dial, signed ‘Audemars Piguet Co,’
has Arabic numerals, blued-steel Breguet style hands,
and a subsidiary seconds dial located between the
five and seven. The
back of the case is engraved with a stylized ‘S’
and the inside of the cover is stamped with the following
numbers: 139500, 2, 13764 and hallmarked 18K.
The
dust cover is engraved ‘F.SCHLESICKY, FRANKFURT’
and the inner engraving and hallmark is the same as
the case cover. The
multi-jeweled movement is highly polished and mounted
on an engine-turned plate. Moving the slide on the
left side of the case activates the striking of the
gongs. This
pristine repeater has been fully serviced and is in
excellent working order.
