bronze vase clock - Details:
Contained
within the elegant patinated bronze urn shaped case
is the French eight-day movement with anchor escapement,
striking on a bell on the hour and half hour, and
silk suspension for the lenticular pendulum.
The
3 1/4” white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals
and blued-steel moon hands.
Fine
gilt winged female busts adorn the urn while gilt
ormolu mounts depicting entwined dolphins are applied
to the bronze
base sitting on four gilt claw feet.
