Austrian
Biedermeier incased in flame mahogany with carved
crown and trim. The enamel dial with Roman numerals
and pie crust bezel is signed on the back by the maker,
Mohslinger.
The 8 day movement strikes on the quarter hour on
two gongs. It is in good running order, operating
daily, and has been inspected and oiled by Gerald
Marsh of Winchester, England in 2008.
Franz Möhslinger (in Wien/Vienna) is listed in the
books that he worked in Vienna and also made Laterndlclocks'.
