Details: Dial
The
white enamel dial has black Roman numerals and Arabic
minute numerals, with a year calendar dial through the
aperture at six o’clock, and signed ‘Ferdinand
Berthoud’. The gold minute hand indicates solar
time and the black minute hand, with the arrow tip,
indicates mean time. The straight black hand indicates
seconds. The small aperture at 48 seconds is for changing
the calendar dial.
